SHOPPING ASSISTANCE FOR SOMEONE WHO IS HOMEBOUND (SASH)

Sally Pierotti
Program Coordinator

Some individuals with severe disabilities have difficulty or are unable to get out of their homes to do the basic job of shopping for food and other essential supplies. CID's Shopping Assistance for Someone who is Homebound (SASH) is a grocery shopping and delivery service for people with disabilities who are able to cook for themselves, and needs a grocery shopping service due to mobility limitations. The shopping is done by community volunteers who are trained as SASH Volunteers.
